Dr. Lawrence Davis - President/CEO, Retired Lieutenant Colonel
Dr. Lawrence Davis brings a wealth of experience in leader development, training, and personnel management, spanning over thirty-five years, to AVIP CONSULTING. His Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification underscores his high-level expertise in project management and process improvement. Furthermore, he possesses extensive proficiency in emergency management, both academically and professionally, owing to his military background as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) Officer, coupled with the pursuit of a doctorate in Homeland Security Policy and Procedures. Dr. Davis has enriched his knowledge by completing multiple FEMA courses, enhancing his capacity to effectively respond to emergencies and disasters. In the academic realm, he has served as a School Director, instructor, and trainer for military and civilian personnel, attending leader development and pre-command courses under the United States Army Reserve Command. Dr. Davis has also contributed as an adjunct professor for over 10 years at Troy University, Webster University, and Florida Gateway College. Additionally, he generously dedicates his time to coaching track and cross-country for Columbia High School.
Jennifer Yates - Business Manager
Jennifer Yates possesses nearly twenty-five years of experience encompassing finance, accounting, marketing, communications, advertising, contract management, and personnel supervision. Her meticulous nature is complemented by robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Jennifer possesses a firm grasp of the accounting realm, excelling in tasks such as maintaining comprehensive financial reports that encompass profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, fixed assets, and year-end financial summaries. Moreover, she boasts extensive expertise in assessing and evaluating a business’s financial health, which includes handling invoices, scrutinizing expense reports, managing assets, and developing and overseeing budgets. Jennifer has shouldered the responsibility of various human resources functions, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, performance evaluations, payroll management, and oversight of 401K plans. Additionally, she has accumulated significant experience in spearheading custodial services projects for both civilian and government entities.
Tim Camiel - Project Manager
Tim brings with him a wealth of experience exceeding twenty-five years, encompassing sales, finance, accounting, and project management. His diverse skill set extends to various areas, including building construction, product acquisition, logistics, and project supervision and management. His involvement in sales, has honed his adeptness in cultivating effective client relations, contributing significantly to building strong relationships and networks. At AVIP CONSULTING, Mr. Camiel oversees customer relations, marketing, and contract bidding, leveraging his extensive expertise and skills.
